Travel Costs
Travel costs usually apply for one trainer. If two trainers are needed then you will have that set out in any quote sent to you.
*National Rail Standard Anytime return fare is charged. This is charged regardless of the amount actually spent (even if it is more e.g. if first class is used) or two single tickets are used or the method of travel (national express coach; plane; car etc )is different. Your organisation can get an idea of standard anytime return fares by going to http://www.nationalrail.co.uk – enter HML for Hemel Hempstead then choose your local station then enter the date and times of the travel. After the times appear you can click on fares. We will set the fare out with the quote with the charges.
* Taxi fares/Public transport fares are from the station to your place; a hotel (if accommodation is needed) and the return fares will be charged. This will only be done if it is needed – the trainers may use public transport if available. If the venue is a reasonable walk the trainer may do that.
* Hotel Accommodation can be arranged and paid for by your organisation without Square 1 Training being involved. Accommodation should include a room; evening meal; breakfast. If you want us to arrange the accommodation then we will try to book a room in a Premier Inn with meals. You can get an idea of Premier Inn rates by going to http://www.premierinn.com. If there is no Premier Inn available or it is a long way from your training venue then there is a maximum charge of £150 for hotel accommodation (bed and breakfast and the evening meal). There is a maximum charge for the evening meal of £20 if you cannot arrange one with the accommodation. These maximum charges are for each trainer (although in most cases only one trainer is ever needed). If the accommodation costs are less than the maximum then the saving is passed on to you. You will not be charged the maximum amount.
