What we are trying to do.


We think that you or your organisation should not be fixed to one way of learning. We want to help you know more about these programs. We want you to use the programs confidently and to get your job done. If you want to become an expert or you want to help others by training them or supporting them we want to help you do that. We offer you lots of different ways to learn about these programs. It's your training and learning so hopefully you will find the best way to do that. You may not be sure that you need training - why waste your time and money?  You may just want to know if you are doing the right thing - so why not take our assessment course and get our feedback. You may be fine and decide you need no training after that.   You may want to go onto a course and discuss it with others; you may be happy doing your training over the internet. We offer lots of different ways to learn - some you may never have used before.If you are not sure just contact us to discuss it.  We hope to offer a free online assessment for the start of next April - the new benefit year.

About Square 1 Training.

Square 1 Training has been offering and running training courses since 2000. The courses have always included Lisson Grove and Quick Benefis Calculator as John Prosser who started Square 1 Training worked with the team. But there have been a range of courses run both as in house courses, online courses and public training sessions. Courses run and offered have mostly included  LGBP courses and Welfare Benefit courses but have also included training on internet skills; as well as law courses and sometimes computer courses. Customers have included Local Authorties; Welfare Rights Units; Citizens Advice Bureaux; Advice Centres; Welfare to Work Providers etc. The numbers of people doing the training courses or working with Square 1 vary over the years but John has been here all the time. 



Square 1 Training has been based in Hemel Hempstead since 2007 and was based in North East London before that.
